English wine has been turning heads in the industry in recent years. On your tour, you'll taste numerous local wines (many are winners of prestigious awards), from the most famous English sparkling wines, to a range of reds, whites and rosés that rival wines from better known regions such as Champagne.

Many of the vineyards and wineries we visit will open especially for South Downs Wine Tours. You will get an exclusive look at how the vines are cultivated, the wine making and bottling process, and—our favourite part!—the tasting of a selection of English wines.

We run vineyard tours from May until the end of September. Get a group of friends together for a customisable private tour for up to 8 people—perfect for birthdays, hen-dos, and special occasions.

South Down Wine Tour groups have no more than 8 guests. This ensures that your experience will be as unique and special as possible. Our tours are open to every wine-lover, whether you're an experienced wine expert or a relative novice.
